Large Poultry Brooder  SOLD

Post by Giffen Farms » Wed Jun 26, 2019 8:25 am

Large metal poultry brooder made by Eastern Steel Products, red/black in colour, on castor wheels, 4 levels each with 2 pens for a total of 8 pens, have 8 water troughs for the ends, 13 feeders with adjustable heights for sides.

Measurements with feed/water troughs are 75" wide × 69.5" tall × 48" deep.

Each pen is 10" high × 34" wide × 38" deep.

Can hold 60+/- week old standard sized chicks per pen.

First week or two, I use heat lamps on top, with plastic feed/waterers until they're big enough to reach the exterior troughs, can accommodate chicks comfortably up to 6 weeks of age, heritage breeds until 4 weeks of age, enough space for 20-25 chicks/trough to eat at once.

In good condition, just pressure washed with hot water, have extra wire side panels

$450 obo

Very nice unit, very tempting if you were not so far away.
