Nikon Coolscan V FREE

Don't know if anyone can use this. It's a film scanner that I don't need it anymore. It doesn't work with current Windows but there used to be a conversion programme you could buy for $20 called Vuescan. Perhaps one of you geniuses could get it to work again and use it. I really hope I don't have to scan my 5000 negs again.

Does it scan slides? I have a few slides I have been wanting to scan forever. Any idea what version of Windows it works with?

Yes, slides and negs! Not sure on the technical stuff will get Vian to check. I got the Vuescan software which let it work with the newer versions of windows. It's very old. Hey you could make it a project for school.
Found the info - don't laugh anyone I'm still using Photoshop version 6!
Windows ME, Windows 98, Windows 2000 Professional
Also MAC.
