Description
We have a select number of eggs for sale from our Partridge Chantecler Flock. They are laying wonderful shaped, medium eggs. These chickens are also known as the Albertan and were breed for the Canadian Climate. They are very hardy and easy keeping birds. They lay eggs throughout the winter months and are great foragers. They are a dual purpose bird creating a wonderful laying hen and a delicious eating bird.

are you willing to ship with the buyer of course accepting all risks and responsibility? I've taken worse risks with eggs traveling from Alberta in February 2 years ago in sub zero weather with amazing hatch rates. :-) just saying and thinking... still thinking... but your 3 hours away from me... hmmm is there any chance that your coming to the sarnia show? I will be there and I am very interested.

have a good one!

Thanks for the kind words and interest in our birds. Anyone who commented or asked questions I either PM or emailed you a response. We are located right smack dab in the middle of Fergus but we have a good friend who lives on a farm just off of highway 6 about 2 minutes south of town and he allows us to keep our breeding stock at his place. We have 3 pens of breeding birds - Partridge Chanteclers, French Black Copper Maran and a pen of Easter Eggers. We do keep some hens in town at the house for eggs or to brood on eggs but we like our neighbours so leave the roosters at the farm.
Cheers,
J.P.

We set a dozen eggs last week and candled them today and the fertility rate is excellent. 11 of 12 eggs have an embro growing in them. Yay! Little chicks in 2 weeks if all goes well.

Hello Cousineau,
It is strange that you are using Myles' picture to advertise for eggs you sell. Pic is found here: http://www.chanteclerfanciersinternatio ... =partridge with reference to the fact that it's Myles' bird. Did you purchase the birds from him since then so the pic is accurate of the parents? Or is this a nice representation of a really good looking bird that you are striving to achieve (and you should give credit to the owner of the pic)?
I think your customers should know the difference.
