Boiler Chickens. USA facts.

Wings: Top Importer: China
Total US Export: 118,980 tons
Wing tips are a favourite in Asia, but in the last decade exports have decreased due to the demand in North America

Feathers: Top Importer: Indonesia
Total US exports: 210,822 tons
The US Poultry industry produces some 1.6 million TONS of feathers every year. Feathers are ground and used as animal feed or as plastic fortifiers.

Leg Quarters: Top Importers: Russia
Total US Exports: 2,005,982 tons
In the early 1990's during the breakup of the Soviet Union, the US government donated chicken legs to help with food shortages; Russians called them Nozhki Busha, or Bushs legs. The need for aid is over but the taste for dark meat remains.

Viscera: Top Importer: South Africa
Total US Exports: 48,477 tons
Intestines generally go to rendering plants to be ground and used as pet food and fertilizer.

Feet: Top Importer: China
Total US Export: 330,509 tons
Known as paws in the poultry business, chicken feet were considered worthless until Asian markets were tapped in the early 1990's.

I found it interesting. This is what happens with the rest of chickens after North America consumes the breast/white meat. Breast are not exported for the most part.
