Sold two doelings today

Forum rules
As per Ferrier1987: You are supposed to post pictures when you post about your baby goats. Its a rule here. I just made it up as a rule, but its now part of the forum rules I have decided.

Sold two doelings today

Post by Farrier1987 » Sun Aug 19, 2018 8:09 pm

Well, I have cut down. Sold the two little doelings today. Went to a grampa and gramma that want pets for when their grandkids come to visit. Couldn't ask for better home for them. 200 ea, which is what I was asking, but probably twice auction sale prices. They have a good home and the people have exactly what they wanted. I love a happy ending.

I delivered them and went out to the paddock with them and sat while they settled in. Their beagle chased Carmen, and she didn't like that. Then started that goat hierarchy thing, turned around and chased the beagle. I did not know this dog, but he jumped into my arms like "Save me!" And Carmen came and threatened, she would straighten this out. The couple laughed til I thought they would have to get new Attends. And the lady took a picture of me. One of the best that has been taken of me in a long time. I include it here, so my fan base can be amused as well. Autografted copies available at a nominal charge. That's Carmen glaring at the camera and Char untying my shoe.
