So my little goat Dulcy, 9 months, old was making noises like she wanted a boyfriend on Sunday, three days ago. So I took her for a conjugal visit at the neighbors and it looked likely that she should be with child.
Today. She is more aggressive than she has ever been to the dogs and other goat. Not nasty, but rear and stomp, just to show she can, stare them down. And tonight I see an opaque yellowish mucousy bit on her girl parts. My guess is that she is developing a mucous plug.
So my question for someone that is more experienced: Are these normal signs of pregnancy, and would I actually see it this soon, or am I imagining things? I guess I will know in three weeks if she cycles again.

Re: Goat opinion wanted
Women become very moody when pregnant, so maybe her hormones are speaking.

Re: Goat opinion wanted
I'd take her temperature to make sure she doesn't have an infection making her out of sorts and oozy, but I cannot speak to whether or not she would be hormonal and developing a mucus plug at only three days post-breeding...my two girls have never shown any such changes until kids are imminent, but my goats are not your goats lol. Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in!
