New Icelandic lamb pics
The first of my Icelandic ewes (Bella) had her babies a few days ago. She went about a week early so I didn't even have time to get her in the barn. I was just walking in the pasture and there she was with her new lambs. Sure glad she had no problems. That's the great thing about Icelandics they are such easy lambers and great mothers. She had 2 perfect ewe lambs.

That looks like quite an interesting wool length. Have you tried spinning it?

Beautiful animals, you don't have to spin Icelandic wool, just card and roll strips in to balls and knit directly, beautiful stuff.

Yeah Icelandic wood is very highly prized for spinning. I have never tried spinning before. I just sell the wool.
