Called to make an appointment to have a dozen cockerels processed on Nov 29th
(now I remember why one shouldn't hatch in July)....
and they weren't sure if they would have enough birds coming in to make it worth processing that day, may have to bring them in Nov 15,
anybody else bringing birds in on that day?

Re: Processing cockerels at Hendersons in Chesterville
My notes tell me they are going to be between 1.75 and 2KG live weight at 4 month (she said hopefully)
but not really a case of them being ready, but rather me being ready
next chicken processing date would be Dec 13 and frankly nobody wants to be driving there in December.
Also, if they didn't have enough chickens for that date we would be stuck with them for the winter, definitely way too cold to be doing any "emergency processing outside at that late date.
