New pup

Post by Shnookie » Mon Nov 21, 2022 3:09 pm

After several months of thinking and looking, I found a new pup I wanted. I got him Oct. 8. He was 5 months old then. He came from a breeder in Winnipeg. She was going to keep him for herself, then decided to sell him. A friend told me about the ad on Facebook. He's awesome! Already house trained, partly leash trained, crate trained, cuddly, likes to play, smart, and he fits in really well. My other dog had been depressed for a long time. She perked up right away (so did I). They like to play together. His name is Teddy and he's a happy little guy.

Congrats on your lovely boy. It's an added bonus that he gets along well with your other pooch :).

His manners aren't that great. He likes to pounce on me when I'm sitting on the couch, and he has a habit of jumping up, waay up, when gets excited. His front paws already reach my shoulders. I'm still glad I got him.

On a plus side, they are very trainable, sign up for obedience classes as soon as you can, best investment you will ever make. :)

Update. Teddy is doing great. He will be 1 year old May 3. Here's a picture of my two dogs playing outside on one of the nice days we have had lately. The black one is Trixie. She's 5 years old.
