When you consider he didn't know me from Adam, pretty impressive :)
Addy is in charge of guarding squirrels.
When they say Golden Retriver isn't really a guard dog they aren't kidding somebody knocked on the door yesterday and before our elder statesmen became deaf, he would have barked his head off, Addy on the other hand came to me and gave me that "aren't you going to go and get the door ?" look

Not as bad as a red setter we knew. Let thieves break into the car and take binocs etc. at a rest stop in UK.

I sure wouldn't have Golden Retriever if I was after a guard dog, and definitely not Irish Setter (also known as the Mad Irisman) :)
But Addy is very sure about her job description...She welcomes everybody with the same enthusiasm, be they relatives or strangers or the guy that is after your electronics
