Teddy

Post by Shnookie » Tue Feb 12, 2019 12:02 pm

I unexpectedly lost one of my house cats last night. He was 7 1/2 years old. He was a large ragdoll cat. His coat was really soft with some unique markings. He was laid back and very affectionate. He loved to be combed. I saw no signs that he was ill at all. He had a massive heart attack and died. I already knew that several pure cat breeds (ragdolls are one of them) have genetic heart problems but I still wasn't expecting it. I have a 14 year old Himalayan that is showing his age and I was expecting him to go first.

That is so sad, sorry for your loss.
That is a really young age, I didn't realize ragdolls had that problem. Beautiful cat.

Very sorry for your loss. We had an orange boy die the same way. Took 2 steps and died. Very sad and unexpected. I love Himalayans!
