Rex rabbits cause why not lol
so i've had rabbits most of my life, raised a few different breeds, but man, Rex are my ponies! lol they are a good general purpose rabbit, good meat, excellent fur and personalities have been great :) there are 17 different recognized colours and countless others lol.
heres a bit of my set up i use stacker cages: most are 36" long, 24" deep, some are divided into 2 holes per level(good for singles) or 1 hole per level(good for litters), i like j feeders top fill water bottels (with clam shells because some are stupid), and hay racks to try and keep it clean.
resting mats are key
some of my jrs

Gorgeous, sadly me and bunny fur don't get along! I cuddle for awhile and go very pink. I used to have a pair of orange rex rabbits in the UK and had to cull them because they were sad terrified things. Later I found out the line was prone to brain tumours and the lady was still breeding them - go figure. Sad lesson when you're a teenager.

Oh how I wish I wasn't so allergic to them!
Stubborn me raised Netherland Dwarfs as a kid despite barely being able to breathe around them. Fast forward to a few years ago and getting a mini Rex for the kid thinking I'd grown out of it...nope I lasted about a week with it in the back laundry room before it had to be evicted to a room in the barn.
So, I'll just have to enjoy the pictures of them from the rest of you!
