a DOG dilema........
Re: a DOG dilema........
Addy is Labradorable! Funny about all the colour coordinated bedding (and toy) :). I'm sure that they will both get along well before too long. GREAT that she sleeps through the night! Looks as if you really lucked out with the little pupper :).

Re: a DOG dilema........
Should have named her "misschief"
She is pretty amazing so far, I expected to spend a few sleepless nights, but every night she sleeps a bit longer, so day 7 bad at 10:30 pm, got up 6:15 am, I can totally live with that, now if only I could get myself in to bed before midnight, we would be in a fine shape.
I wasn't eating any plants, honest.... just window shopping... this looks good enough to eat... OK how about this one then... Dreaming of green thing and sticks...

Re: a DOG dilema........
I remember when we were fostering Rottweilers it was suggested training is no problem as long as you are smarter then the dog, and the Rotties were supper smart.
I suspect this pup may be harboring inner Rottweiler, she is either supper smart and very quick, or I am not that bright and somewhat slow
She came in from the breeder used to crates, which were in the play area and the pups were free to go in and out freely and she was sitting for her food.
So a very easy start, she sits for everything, if only this human could figure out which sit is for what......
only 2 "accidents" and last couple days she started to ask to go out, and yesterday she put herself away in the crate when it was time, so obviously has a built in watch

Wonderful!!! :). You probably got her from a great breeder who did a little training with the pups.
Something you might want to teach her is to pee on command. We say "go busy". It's super easy to teach, just wait for her to squat and say "go busy" (or whatever your word/phrases is). Praise like crazy as she goes, and reward with a treat. It's so handy for travelling, or for when you have to go out and want them to "go" before leaving..... Our lab knows this command so well that I have to make sure my foot is out of the way before I say it {LOL}.

Re: a DOG dilema........
Sorry I forgot to mention that she has been peeing on command from day two, as I said pretty impressed.
We say "go for a pee" , I am sure our neighbors are really impressed, first the rooster starts at 5 am and them me at 6am with "go for a pee and then 7 am and then at 8:30 am.......
