Thank you @Killerbunny we have the same "animal attitudes " so I appreciate you commentKillerbunny wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 10:41 am@Ontario Chick Chance had a wonderful home. A dog (or anything) couldn't ask for better. Glad I got to meet him.
I am trying very hard to ignore her looks at Chance's usual places @Happy ,I am doing lots of furniture changes to distract her and myself. The house seems a bit empty.

Hope you and Addy feel better soon. It takes time to adjust. From what I've read, you are an "animal whisperer" so Chance lived a happy, wonderful life. Pizza passed away in November and we still cover the water spouts at our water tower. He loved licking the spouts. No reason to do this now, but we are not ready to take the covers away...

Would you be interested in a dog that is being "retired" by a breeder. One of our best goldens was from Blackpool Goldens in Shaty Bay. We got Polar when he was 2+ yrs and they had decided not to use him in their breeding program. I know that at times breeders, for many different reasons, will put an adult dog up for adoption.

Would have been a possibility for me when I started the search 3 years ago.
I am sure they will have no trouble placing her.
