Good info thanks Robbie.

On the top of my strange ingredient list, I am still trying to get my hands on Black Soldier Fly meal as a source of animal protein for my quail.

I may have to look into raising the flies myself, not sure what my wife would think.

Hey Jim...any luck with this?

Where do you buy feed?

Hey Bert yes.

I have the info from Enterra on ordering Black soldier fly larva meal. The company only sells the meal and dried whole larva, wholesale only, minimum order is 1 pallet tote, which is approximately 350 kg of dried larva or 500 kg of the fly meal. The price gets cheaper the more you buy, buy for the minimum order of 350 kg of dried flies price is $4.47 per kg, for the meal it is $3.15 per kg, plus shipping from BC. Unfortunately just too expensive at the moment.
