I am pleased to be able to announce that we have finalized all details with regards to the poultry show at the Clinton Spring Fair on Saturday June 4, 2016. This year, we are proudly hosting the American Poultry Association Provincial Meet, along with a club meet of the American Bantam Association. There are classes for Large Fowl, Bantams, Ducks, Geese, Turkeys, Pigeons, and Juniors. Entry fees are $2.00 per entry. Exhibitors can show as many birds as they wish (ie: 1 male and 3 females or 10 males and 15 females of White Rock bantams). There is a Youth Showmanship competition and those wishing to participate in that must enter their birds in the Junior classes. As well, for the first time, Serama Table top show will be held as well, and Seramas must be entered in the open show. We are pleased to have Troy LaRoche hired to place the Open show entries, and Dr. William Patterson of Michigan will be the Serama table top judge. We have secured a large number of breed club meets as well, including Brahma, Plymouth Rock, Serama, Wyandotte, Marans, Ameraucanas, Silkies, Orpington, and more.
Entries this year can be cooped in Friday night, June 3 between 5 Pm and 9 PM. The building will be closed at 9 PM sharp. All birds must be in place for judging by 9 AM Saturday June 4. Entries must be postmarked by Wednesday May 25, 2016.
