Once again this year the Acton Fall Fair is preparing to host another great poultry & Pigeons show. The Open Poultry show is held on Saturday September 21,2019. Classes for all recognized and non recognized breeds and varieties of Large fowl ,Bantam, Ducks ,Gesse , Turkeys and Guineas. Prize money schedule is as follows Best of Variety $3, Reserve of Variety $2, Best of Breed $10 ,Reserve of Breed $5,Best of Classification $15 and Reserve of Classification $10. Plus awards for over all champions. Entry fees are only 10 % of winnings over $50. This is an APA /ABA Sanctioned show. The pigeon show is also Saturday September 21,2019 . Classes for all breeds of pigeons. Prize money is as follows Best of Breed $5 Reserve of Breed $3, Champion Pigeon $50 , Reserve Champion $25 with the next top 8 pigeons receiving $10 . Also entry fee 10% of winnings over $50.

The Junior Poultry show is held on Sunday September 22,2019. Classes for all breeds and varieties as listed above . No entry fee for this Junior show. Ribbons and awards will be presented to the winners. Entries close September 13,2019 . For more information or to enter contact Troy Laroche

The final numbers are in with a entry of 503 birds for Acton Fall Fair this year. Pigeons remain at small levels.. but most everything else is up. There are 101 feather leg bantams and another great goose show with 32 geese... Great competition through out the classes . Many thanks to all who are showing.
