I have never been to that sale. Would it be worth taking a nice milk doe and her two kids ready to ween? All gentle and vaccinated and stuff? Its about a 4 hour drive for me. How early would I need to leave to be there for prime customer volume time?

Thoughts from my friends on here would be appreciated. Those who don't think they are my friends can go jump in the lake.

Farrier1987. South of Chatham on Lake Erie. Chickens, goats, horse, garden, dog, cat. Worked all over the world. Know a little bit about a lot of things. No incubator, broody hens.

lakes still cold....lol. you'll need to leave about 3am to get there at 7 farrier. it's a hike....i've done the trip a couple times, but it's honestly packing up at 2am and on the road at 3 to be there in time to get a spot on the track....and all over with by 10 or 11!

Recommended for selling Farrier . Hard to go anywhere else with as many varied buyers in one place . I load all the night before go to bed early & head out early . Luck

Not sure how goats will sell but there are certainly goats there, I wouldn't bother in the fall but spring is a good time to go to sell. You still sell in the fall but its a buyers market in the fall.
