I am a director of the club,we first moved this sale from woodstock to Paris a few yrs ago
we have tried to improve the sale from that tiny room the first yr to a larger more spacious facility.more tables, opening doors earlier, etc
but the past couple sales have become smaller and less attended.prices have seemed to drop .we cannot control the prices but if there are any ideas to improveThe sale and the club I would really like to hear comments on the club and this sale ideas and thoughts to make it better

Gidday, funnyfarmerz, is the club getting smaller as folks get old and out of birds?

If I could give you one bit of advice it would to have your website up to date for auction dates etc. When I was on it, it is showing last years information.

Personally I don't have an interest in your category for my own keepings, but I like know ASAP for poultry show, auctions and fairs. Allows us busy people to plan ahead.

And it looks like this year you have put it on the Easter holiday - long weekend.
Timing is everything for me and I'm sure for many.

Are you advertised in our show section?

Just my CDN 2 cents which isn't really worth all that much hah!

Also one thing maybe affecting it is the license requirement to buy pheasants. I want to-lady amhersts for my hubby but i have no desire to spend mega $ (ok i am cheap) on a license so we can simply have one breeding pair for him. I have zero idea how to get the permit-plus whatever else is needed....and in my municipality i also need a municipal license. For some reason.
If it werent so convoluted maybe more people would...
