I am trying to think of the name of the disreputable poultry mill pair that sometimes turn up. They are to be avoided. It's DC Heritage Poultry?

Ah geez ... thanks for that info on DC Heritage. Will probably go ... used to live near Renfrew so will visit friends and check out the chickens.

It's pretty good but for fun you should also try to go to the spring one, it's much larger, definitely the biggest buy sell trade in the area.

I missed every sale around, I am thinking of going and will probably sell some of my bantams and bunnies. I have a little too many for winter..... 50! Lol

Hmmm, not sure why but I have never seen such a small buy sell trade in Renfrew before, I know the fall one is always a lot smaller than spring but driving up I started to wonder if it was cancelled. Still I can't complain, I was sold out by a little after ten so was able to go home early. Thank you to the people who make it happen I really appreciate the opportunity to sell birds at a decent price and I enjoyed my morning there.
There were two auctions yesterday south of Ottawa, maybe that had something to do with it.

Glad to hear you sold out S R. Somewhere on Facebook I read the South Mountain Auction was pretty short as well. Maybe the summer like weather people are not thinking what they need to sell before Winter yet.

Jim I was told by a couple of people today that the South Mountain sale was only a couple of hours and that the prices were really low, even for a fall sale. However just down the road there was an auction in Chesterville going on at the same time so I don't imagine that helped.
