south mountain sale

so the South Mountain bird auction is Saturday April 28, South Mountain fairgrounds, Mountain is near hwy 416 between Prescott and Ottawa
(how that flat country got named "mountain" I have no idea)

I believe one of the settlers was called Mountain. A town in Arizona is called Snowflake after the 2 founders Snow & Flake.

I remember the same conversation on PSO :) Didn't know about snowflake though.

You are correct KB, they were discussing this on the radio one day and then I read about it. South Mountain is the name of the town just south of the town named Mountain, maybe not the sharpest tools in the shed but certainly a practical group of people!

Anyway, this little sale often has really good quality birds and bunnies without breaking your bank. I sent a buddy there last year and he came home with loads of pet rabbits and some chicks.
