It all depends on how many birds and how many people, so pretty hard to estimate.
BUT, if you are planning to buy, you pretty much have to look at the birds before the Auction starts.

Mcd's corners is a bit smaller than other sales so end time is 3 or 4 pm
there's always a great variety and quality is between crossbreeds and show quality- there were some bantam blue cochins that went $30 a trio once (i forget if a spring or fall sale) and they woulda been worth $150. i still kick myself that I didn't grab them

I have often watched it end by 2:30'ish even in spring, it doesn't start until ten so not a long day.
Hard to say what will happen this year since it is much later. Spring prices are usually high for good stock but not insane prices. Like Baron said there will be a mix of barnyard chickens and show birds (usually). There are a few show quality guys around that area and sometimes bring in extra birds they no longer want. Also (usually) there is a good selection of hatching eggs, it really helps if you know the people however, I have gotten great deals in the past but I have been cheated as well so I usually only buy from breeders I know. If you ever needed a rabbit, oh boy is this the place for you lol! Most important of all, if you like hamburgers, have one there!
