2017 OPB Numbers

Post by modern17 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 5:31 pm

Just realized I have not updated all on the show. We topped off this year with 1608 entries by 119 exhibitors. Exhibitors are coming from PEI , NB , NS , Quebec , Alberta , Michigan , Ohio and across Ontario. This is up 400 birds and 26 exhibitors over last years show. We are doing our set up Wednesday night and look forward to opening the doors on Friday at 5 PM - 8 PM to receive anyone one coming on Friday night. We will reopen the building on Saturday AM at 7 AM . Judging gets underway at 9 AM . Due to our increased entry we have had to add a judge.. Steven Blash from the Boston MA area will be joining Brian Know of New Hampshire , Jacob Bates of Arkansas and Tom Roebuck of Virgina in judging the Open show birds. Frank Good Fellow of Ontario judging the junior show and Paul Monteith of Ontario judging the junior showmanship competition . We look forward to many visitors to show. Much to see and do. Make sure to visit and support our many vendors including Minor Brothers Feed and Farm supply ( our main sponsor) will be there with a full line of must have items for every fancier , The Feather Fancier Newspaper , The Exhibitor Newspaper. SF Apparel & Custom Embroidering ( you can get your farms name on a shirt or what ever , bringing your own garment is ok ) as well they will have our full line of OPB attire for sale, Also Vanmarrum Metal works will have a full display of custom signs and metal items with poultry related themes and much more. A great opportunity to Christmas shop for the Poultry Fancier . See you there.
