Auction in Alfred

Just a reminder that the IPBA auction in Alfred is this Saturday, it is usually the largest auction around the Ottawa area. There are usually some really nice birds and bunnies here and you can often get good deals with lower fall prices.

Nice day for an auction. There were some nice birds there today, around 38 lots sold. Again the prices seemed low, even for a fall sale. Some things went high but most did not. At the beginning actually it was a little scary but more buyers showed up and prices went up to a better level. I let my stuff go, some things I did ok on and others I was disappointed. Saw a lot of really pretty ducks, forgot to get the breed names. The club does a really good job running the auction. I have a feeling most people must sell on line these days. I bought a turkey...... dinner on the way back and that was it, lol I kept my hands in my pockets.
