We had a good day in spite of the weather. I'm kinda of proud of my chicken math today. I sold 30 birds and only bought 2.

It was cold. I've equated it to standing on the bow of the Titanic when it sank. It was a miserably cold day. Our crew had brooders and heat packs, I think we used at least 30 of them when we sold chicks, even gave a few away to some cold little people walking with their parents.
It was a successful chicken math day, but I am up a lamb or two. Picked up a pair from Frances, a 'unicorn' from Kathy (which made my husband laugh when he read the box!), 2 little marans chicks...and the sheep. I think we've warmed up now, mostly, but won't be awake for a whole lot longer.

No worries Kenya. The Americauna that you gave me is my favourite hen ever. She sits on my shoulder when I am cleaning the coop and grooms me when I kneel down. She has personality to burn! She more than makes up for the poli roo. I still have him. If have been waiting for his crest to grow back before I find him a new home. Momo the Americauna keeps plucking out his head feathers! He doesn't seem to care. He's great with the Mille fleur roo and the ladies.
Now that I am home I wish that I had picked up a couple of Maran eggs to stick under my broody Mille Fleur. Anyone got any cuckoo maran eggs? Lol. Non-buyers regret!!!

Madison I sure envy you those cute babies, I wanted to come around and see what you had for sale but too cold after standing outside and selling mine. I did get around and saw silkie sue, I think by that time most people were going home.Saw funnyfarmer as well. I wish it had been nicer weather, I had family not go because of the weather.
The only thing I bought was a white pine tree.

I attended the Mount Forest Sale yesterday and purchased this pair of yellow archangels. Hoping to get some youngsters out of them at somepoint.
