It's only half over so you still have time to get here lol. Prices still good for sellers so far but not nuts prices.

The prices only started to come down close to 5:30 PM and when I left at that time, they were on lot 48 or 49 out of at least 67. Lots and lots of birds, but from early afternoon on, not the greatest variety.

Whew! Finally home. Good stuff stayed high, not as high as during the day but there was a group of people who were determined to buy because if you tried to buy something they would hang on. For me at this time it doesn't make sense to pay too much so I had to let everything I bid on go. Anyway that's good for the sellers since they put all the feed and work into keeping birds over winter. Close to the end there were a few lots that had really nice birds. It was big again this year, people had to wait to bring their stock in later when there was room.

That's rough when the auction lasts that long, few people can stay that long, but I've heard of people leaving and coming back later in the day to a long auction.

Ok ok I confess..... I did get something. There was this poor little female bunny near the end that nobody wanted  so I bought her :bunnyhop: one of my neighbours loves rabbits so she will stay with me or he will take her but at least she won't go to the meat guys. Then later on there were these three ee chicks that nobody wanted :baby ckick: :chick6: :chick96: lol so I got them. They are actually, 3 months old and no sign of any combs yet so hopefully there is at least one hen in the group.

That makes me incredible sad. What kind? Why did no one want her? I always feel badly for these ones.
