By the way, sheep don't lay well and don't like incubators, :farmer:

I don't doubt the price, but we have to finish the shelter before winter so the critters can be warm and insulated. I'll be all over it in a few months ;)

Here's a few pictures, great day, exhausting though. Some great buys there. Surprising how many people don't bring a box and I usually have lots but this year I didn't have many. Picked up some chicks from Fairsing Farm (hope you are feeling better soon France's) Love my babies!!!
Bought my coturnix quail, very happy with them.
Not as many people there but the ones that were came to buy. Spring sale has a lot of baby carriages, people just out for the day.

Don't worry Bert, in reality sheep will not be in the future any time soon, if ever, too many other projects to finish up, but ya just never know for sure. lol

I have kept lots of different animals (various poultry, snakes, lizards, alligators, rabbits, chincillas, sugar gliders, chipmunks...) but never any mammal bigger than a large rabbit, so would like to get some type of mammal at least once. Top 3 are sheep, alpaca or Patagonian cavy.

Lol, best thing I heard here was Ross selling boxes, genius! Talk about knowing your market! I am finding it hard to get boxes, most stores now have recycling bins that you can't retrieve boxes from, or the boxes are not useful for chickens.

I work at a Hallmark store to support my chicken habit, the boxes are excellent! Lots of different sizes and shapes. They think I'm nuts for taking them home, but saves them from recycling them. My co-worker set some aside and I picked through saying some were too big and some were too small, a few were just not the right shape, then they asked me what I was using them for. They had a good laugh...but now they now the sizes I need and set them aside for me LOL!
