Muscovy hatch 2016 finally

Are muscovy good parents?

pxtyson it depends on the hen. I have a couple of hens that are going to a laying flock because they had no interest in the ducklings once they hatched. Luckily we have a couple of hens that are fantastic moms. The one in these pictures took over raising 10 then just a couple of weeks ago hatched another 13.

all my muscovy hens are excellent moms.... runners, on the other hand.... not so much lol
