Welcome, @J Johnson !
How many quail are you raising and are you raising different colour varieties?
We aren't raising any more until spring either ... those little eggs freeze up within ten minutes of being laid when we're dealing with sub-zero temps, so not much point in collecting for incubation. Never mind having the little boogers inside longer than a week or so, 'cause let's face it, past a week old they really start to stink unless you're changing bedding multiple times a day, and I work outside the home weekdays. And we don't have a heated outbuilding to raise quail chicks in during the winter months.
We have several different colour varieties, including Wild/Pharoah/Natural just to keep it interesting, and to differentiate a little between them.
