Room for one more?
Thought I'd go through the introduction process
Chickens:
Looked after my first chickens for a friend last winter and got my first chicks this spring.
Currently I have Australorp, Barnevelder, Brahma, Sussex and Wyandotte.
The rest of it:
Moved from Peterborough to the Kingston area one year ago and bought a small farm. I am currently trying my hand at some homesteading while looking after my toddler. It's slow going but trying to happy with any progress! So far all we have is chickens, and an 'ok' garden. Will take some years to improve the clay soil. We also make maple syrup in the spring from our sugar maple stand in our forest.
*What's with the picture in the background? I've looked, and can't seem to remove it*

Yaaaaaay welcome Treerooted! There is always room!
The picture disappears once you post something. Sounds like you have a nice flock, everyone here loves pictures.

Ha, ok thanks for the picture explanation! As that was my first post I didn't realize it wouldn't be included.
And I love taking and sharing photos...usually I hold back a lot, because I assume no one wants to see so many!
