I am not silkie expert but I had similar coloured rooster and they were a cross between a Partridge and a White Silkie, I think it's called Birchen?? I found a picture that looks similar.

Birchen generally have silver hackles and silver on the wing with a black triangle when folded....

Yes, did some investigating and seems he is most likely a partridge Silkie although his breeder may have been aiming for a birchen perhaps?
