Hello from Brant County!

Hello! I am currently the crazy chicken-less lady. My first ten hens are set to arrive in June so I am spying on every site I can to be as knowledgeable as possible. It took me a long time to find anything that was really Ontario based! I have wanted chickens forever but we just moved to the country so it has never been an option. We have 5 red sex-link and 5 barred rock coming. Hoping to add some ameraucanas or marans to the flock too.
*edit* Thanks for all of the kind words! My husband grew up on a chicken farm so he has the knowledge, I just don't want to run to him and ask him a million questions so its good to have a place to do research. Maybe I will discover something he doesn't know :)
