Hello all! We finally moved out to a larger property and I can finally get chickens. I've been researching for years and have convinced the rest of the family. I'm hoping to get some started birds instead of day olds, so that I will be less likely to get roosters. I've looked at some local hatcheries, but they either beak trim or you need to order a lot of chicks. Still looking around and was very happy to find this board!

Check out Frey's Hatchery in St. Jacobs, they sell or used to sell day old sexed chicks. Haven't bough from them in a long time so not sure if this is useful information??
