Welcome!!! I hope you enjoy the forum.

Welsummers are wonderful foragers...i have raised them for 5 years or so now. Good size on the males too if you end up with extras (i feeezer camp all my extras). Not as big and meaty as meat birds but very nice just for us.

Its fun juggling full time work and fuller time farming! But one is such a wonderful distractiong from the other. At least my chickens and horses keep me sane while my work tries to drive me insane lol

I'm in your area! I don't raise those breeds myself, but I know there are White Chanteclers available around here. See them on Kijiji occasionally.
