Christmas dinner, what are you serving this year?
Any favorite recipes?
Any old tried and true served every year?
In an all out effort to reduce hours spent in the kitchen this Christmas I actually purchased ready made puff pastry and will try to make appetizers using cups made out of that.
Probably not the best time to be experimenting, so will have a trial run, which means today for lunch
Puff pastry appetizers and Martinis
Give us you version of Christmas success or possible fails ?

Wonder if they have "real" ham?
We don't really do Xmas our bash is Thanksgiving and Solstices so we will be having Pizza totally from scratch which is DH specialty. We will also watch Muppets Xmas Carol.

I am totally in love with Puff Pastry, where has it been my whole life?
Tried the individual cups, it was a bit fiddle and then found
"Beth's Tarte Au Soleil" instructions on You tube, and I swear mine looked Exactly like the picture.
And being an "economical woman", I made raspberry turnovers out of the leftover corners of the dough.
Pure magic.

We're going out for Chinese food with a group of friends for Christmas lunch! It seems weird, but we're not very traditional :)
