Didn't think I was making anything as I work today and tonight but I ended up putting in a turkey as no one else was doing anything. So will have my Mother, brother and sister for supper. My husband made a potatoe cabbage dish, don't remember what its called but its delicious, peas and gravy of course. Minced meat pie for dessert.
Very basic I'm afraid , nothing like the rest of you are doing.

Can't resist, must show off my Tarte au Soleil,

Oh my, lovely and looks like loads of work!

Would like to take credit, but, $ 2.99 for frozen puff pastry, 3 tablespoons of pesto out of a jar, receipt from You tube, 15 minutes preparation and 20 minutes baking is all it took.
Love stuff that looks showy and is fast and easy :wine:

Nothing more admirable then putting a last minute meal together and being able to share it, very impressed @kenya

Kids with partners in tow and my folks are coming tomorrow for the full meal..turkey and stuffing and mixed root puree on our part along with dessert..all the rest comes in as people arrive bearing their contribution..it's all planned of course so it will be a grand feed...tonight its off to the home with a meal all packed to share with MJs mom who is living with severe dimentia...a horrible thing but she really loves these dinner visits..anyway, ..Merry Christmas to all
