Yep, Allens apple juice (the large blue cans) says "Made in Canada" in big letters on the front label. Yep the Chinese apple juice gets put in a can in Canada so therefore its "Made in Canada".

It's just so sad all the old apple orchards along HWY 2 have slowly disappeared over the last few years and although I have never actually purchase apple joice in a can, the idea that the apples come from China turns my stomach a bit.
On a more positive note, we are able to buy locally produced apple cider, very happy about that.

Saying it was made in Canada when in fact it was only packaged in Canada in my opinion is fraud! It shouldn't be allowed. Guess I'll be reading where it's made from now on.

That is a lovely sentiment, unfortunately there aren't enough government inspectors to check if everybody actually follows the rules.
I remember warehouse employees getting caught taking labels off boxes of Chinese tangerines and replacing them with labels "Product of Morocco" !!!
His explanation? It was an employee error.
