Budgies

Still having lots of fun with my little guys...the chickens are just depressing me right now.
They are so much fun to watch I have to resist the urge to keep buying them new toys. I am giving up on trying to hand tame them, it just freaks them out when I stick my hand in the cage, even with treats. Will have to be happy with them coming over to say hi through the bars. My next ones ( you know there will be more, it is like chicken math) will be hand tamed before I buy them.
Finally got them interested in some vegetables. Stuck a piece of broccoli through the bars, you would think I had stuck a green monster in there. Aftyer about an hour they figured out it was actually food and have started picking away at it. Spoiled birds.
