I don't keep parrots: even slow cooked they are tough and chewy. roflmbo

Diligently follow the path of two swords as one. Percieve that which the eye cannot see. Seek the truth in all things. Do not engage in useless activity.

We had a green quaker named Fred when the kids were growing up. What a character he had...he was very attached to my daughter and would start screaming her name when she came in from school. She was the only one that could put her hand in his cage. One time she went away for a week and I had to feed and water him. The first couple of days he left scars on my hands. Then I started telling him to get in the corner or he wasn't going to get anything to eat...and he did! But only until the food and water was in...as soon as he saw it in place he would dive for my hand, lol!
He was never locked in his cage but never left it either...until one day my teenaged daughter and I had a bit of a screaming match and that bird flew off his cage to attack me when I yelled at her!
I still miss him, even though he was a mean old bird!

Our dog came to my nephew's defence when his mother was going to man handle him.
