oh yes I want the black tree saver ones, im guna paint my jugs black and try to find black hose but will settle for the blue. I did see black hose available from Atkinsons. hmmm cost is going to drive most of my decisions though.

So tree selection question. I have so many sugar maples but I also noticed most recently that I have black birch trees.
I have read great things about the sap from these trees but that they are also delicate. I only have a few in my property.
Any suggestions on what method or 'materials' would kill the black birch?

My next walk with Ava I'll bring my phone so I can take a few pics just to make sure I have identified them right.

There's a maple syrup supply store new St.Jacobs. I will have to look and find the thread again, but Inwasnhpoj g to get there this week to get the supplies.

I'll have a look and see what TSC has. Thank for the suggestion @poultry_admin
