Re: ANY QUILTERS Here?
They can be washed with bleach and they'll be good to go. Actually, the website I posted the link for says that they will launder them prior to use so no need to wash before delivering. I imagine most facilities would have similar sterilization protocols.

At this point they will not except them, we have had people bring them in, they are turned away, a shame. But at this point they are not yet desperate and they are not considered good enough.

Heard on the news they are excepting hand made masks but must be made to their specifications, including the type of material used.

Re: ANY QUILTERS Here?
I must say, @kenya this is absolutely brilliant, looking at the fabrics I have, I could do the red and blue, but not necessarily all the same, using the same "value" but not the same patterns.
Now that I have enlarged the picture, although the impression is of a pretty complicated quilt, the pattern is very simple, consisting of triangles only.
The size would lend itself very well to lap quilting.
I am glad I asked

Re: ANY QUILTERS Here?
I looked up the "Starspin" pattern variations, and love all of them.
The best part, where I despaired of how old fashioned the fabrics look, that seems to be no problem at all and the quilts look very timeless.

Here's the same pattern but you could use up more colours or even make all different squares.
