Hornworms
Found 3 huge hornworms on the tomatoes this morning. Pulled them off and threw them to the flock of peafowl that were trying to sneak in the garden gate. Should of yelled “shark”....what a feeding frenzy.

Re: Hornworms
Peafowl will actively seek out and kill snakes. The hornworm was small fry for them. I do hate it when they go after the garden snakes.

Re: Hornworms
I found hornworms today! At least mine weren't enormous so my plants aren't damaged. I'm so glad that my chickens took them and ran off with them :). We found them at a friend's place once, and her chickens weren't interested......

Ha ha Ross. My friend would definitely be a taker :). In the mean time, I think I will have to buy a UV light so that I can find the hornworms more easily.
