I use to start my seeds in my science classroom, but switched schools and have not planted much of a garden in about 4 years. Changing that this year. I normally use seed heating mats, but my mats are at my school and not allowed in there. So nothing fancy this year we have 2 Jiffy pellet trays that are sitting on top of our blue box in our south facing patio door and another tray sitting on the floor. So far so good.

Wow, what a bunch of keeners :)

I noticed my Mesclun starching towards the window, so in the evening I turned out the light for couple of hours and they stood up obediently,
in the morning apparently they gratefully received a source of light reflecting off the barn roof, due west....
So not sure if I will have very well excursive plants or if they just twist their heads of completely.

I think by Sunday we Weill have the Mesclun for lunch, the new "4 step" diet ;)
