I change the water twice a day. When I did it just now I saw roots on some of the lotus plants. The roots weren't there this morning. They have been in the water 2 weeks. This is fun to watch. Now I have to set up a new place for them to live. I have a small aquarium I am going to use.

How neat! Any updates? Did they survive?

Most have died. I have 5 left that are struggling. It has made the winter go faster and has been fun trying. I have kept notes and know some of the reasons they didn't do well. I got some more seeds from a different seller, but won't plant them until it's warmer. They are tropical plants, but my house is far from tropical in the winter.
