Couldn't get some daffodils etc. that I wanted locally to naturalise and I found this site. Lots on sale and shipping very reasonable.
This could be dangerous LOL!

Re: Bulb Website
You're right - dangerous! I never knew there were so many varieties of daffodils ... and quite a number of them are really spectacular!

Re: Bulb Website
I have a different system for daffodil bulbs purchase :)
every Easter when I get desperate for greenery and when snow is still on the ground here, I get a pot of blooming daffodils in the grocery store.
When they finish blooming, I pop them in the ground under the "old" apple tree and next spring like magic, they come back.
admittedly, I am too lazy to break them up and plant the bulbs individually, so it looks a bit like so many little pots of daffodils, and there are no exotic types in the mix, but in our type of garden (the neglected one) it looks pretty good.
I should really count the clumps to see how many years I have been doing it :)

I decided to get some daffodils this year. Got mine from Botanus.com. They are based in BC, and heard about them from my daughter.
I got Falconet and Mondragon Daffodils. What can I say? I liked the names and that they are two-toned.
With my order, I also got a couple of freebies - snow crocus and red tulips.

I ordered a fragrant jonquil mix from Vesey's. They have a big sale on too. I am going to force the bulbs in the house first, then plant them out in spring. Gophers often eat them so I don't see them year after year like you do.

I ordered some bulb's from Vesey's that were discounted 25%. The order was shipped yesterday. Today I got an e-mail from them saying that all remaining bulbs are now 50% off. All the things I ordered are now at a better discount. There are some peonies as well as irises and some other things.
