Thanks Flat Rock. Patience is a virtue (I hear).

Schnookie, those peonies are absolutely gorgeous! I have Gay Paree and some crimson ones. However, we went on a garden tour this spring and saw the most BEAUTIFUL coral coloured peony ever. It's called Flame, and it doesn't seem to be available here. Bet you could find it in the US with your group access. Lucky you!

I also adopted 8 peonies from a lady in Regina. 2 are one variety and 6 are another variety. They are all small. She got them from someone else, and she didn't know what the name was. They had never bloomed for her. They were in too much shade I think. Since I have an acreage it's kind of hard to say no. :) It will be interesting to see if they are something I already have.

Breck's has the really dark peony I put in my post on October 8th for sale in the spring again. It grows quite slow.

Glad I could be an enabler! Peonies are awesome. I counted mine the other day and I have about 30 that I know the names of, and a few that I don't. I have more than one plant of some of them. I'm going to try to sell some of the duplicates. Apparently there will be some for sale in a silent auction at the peony show in June. Several of mine haven't bloomed yet, so I have decided I CANNOT buy anymore.
