Brussel sprouts and Squash
I was inspired by @Killerbunny Brussels sprouts last year and although I have never been able to grow any brassica here, I had a new bed where I dumped the first load from my "digester" so didn't want to grow any root crop and thought why not try....
and it looks to me like we may have success Butternut Squash went a bit out of control, so had to employ saw horses to keep it out of garlic.
Now that garlic is harvested, they will not let go of the sawhorses Tomatoes need daily haircut now that the deer are leaving them alone.

no, just weeds cut really short,
but I have been building straw beds for every single squash, I hope they appreciate it.
