Some of my new daylilies have started to bloom. A few more have buds on them. I didn't order any double ones this time.

First was Moonlit Masquerade.

Another one bloomed today. It's called South Seas.

I have one more daylily that was in the garden (well, just behind the lattice under the veranda) when we moved in. I moved it out to the flower garden and was looking forward to see the flower, but a deer got it first, and it hasn't gone into bud since. Next year, I will get out the Irish Spring pieces sooner.

And I did get the Irish Spring soap pieces out on wooden skewers. Those deer and rabbits better stay away!
