I bought 12 new daylilies from Ontario this year. They came dry-root so it has taken them a while to get growing. A couple are making buds.

My mother has a daylily garden, here in Ontario, and has sold many to her local horticultural society. Those ladies also called the regular orange ones "ditch lilies".

I bought a daylily with a variegated leaf. The name is Golden Zebra, and it (supposedly) has a small gold flower like Stella D'oro, but it is grown more for its beautiful leaves than the flowers. I only have two fans so far, and two tiny buds...…

If you don't plant the tree, you will never have the fruit...

The one I posted last year - Condilla - is growing amazingly well. Heavy thick petals and a deep colour.

no one has volunteered to hold the BBQ so i don't think there will be one this summer....there's a topic for it...Picnic 2018?

alas, i lost several of mine in the fire....i did find roots and put them in the vegetable garden for now and the leaves came up again, but i am not going to force them to flower this year. they need all the help they can get!
