I have one asparagus plant in a flower bed in the front yard. I don't eat it, I just like the ferny tops for cutting and for texture. The other day I found two volunteer asparagus growing in my pasture. I had no idea they would spread like that.

Very cool! You'll have an asparagus patch before too long :)
